That seemed to be the theme at Alice’s Table Blowouts & Blooms event. Shelbie (aka @ddotts) and I were talking about how excited we were for this event the second we were invited. However, we had no idea what to expect. Who knew we would leave feeling more empowered and inspired than ever?

We showed up to Lunatic Fringe Hair Salon and were greeted with warm smiles and open arms. Hannah, with Alice’s Table, introduced herself and after a bit of talking, she introduced us to Greg, with Lunatic Fringe, and he gave us a wonderful tour of the luxurious salon. A glass of wine and some hair talk later, we were in the “Lather Lounge” to begin our pampering.

I don’t know what it is about getting my hair washed, but it puts me in the most relaxed mood. I told Kristina, my boss babe hair stylist for the night, that I could fall asleep while she washes my hair. (Wow Layla, you’re awkward) Luckily for me, she said plenty of clients have fallen asleep before, and she sees it as a compliment.

Before we head on over to her chair, I got a hot towel on my head, and a nice hand massage… they were practically ASKING me to fall asleep… and I loved it.

Now for the fun, I told Kristina she had full reign on my head. While she was styling she gave me great tips for adding volume to my incredibly stick-to-my-head flat hair. I cannot wait to give them a try for myself! My hair has never felt so soft and looked so shiny. Check out what products she used on me below!

After we were all dolled up, we headed to sit with Hannah and began building our floral arrangement. I won’t give away too much here, you’ll have to attend the next event to see how to do it yourself. 😉

Hannah was so confident and set us up for pure success with our arrangements. I felt like a florist! I truly feel like I can use my new vase and make my own special arrangement at home.

No matter what you like, Hannah sets you up for success, she provides the flowers and knowledge… the rest is up to you and your personal style. I highly recommend you check out one of these events.
