I know Cincinnati was just voted #1 in the US for beer drinkers, but that goes for brewing beans as well… at least in my book. 😉 Here are a few coffee shops in Central Cincinnati you need to check out now.
Bean and Barley Coffeehouse and Taproom
2005 Madison Rd. Cincinnati
Why not start off with a place for both kinds of brew. Bean and Barley is a neighborhood gathering spot perfect to hang out during every season. You can grab coffee, beer, wine and pastries.
They highlight local everything – bakers, roasters, brewers and so much more. It is everything you are looking for in a neighborhood hang.
I have also partnered with them on Instagram! You can win B&B swag, coffee, and a gift card!

I Am Coffee
4728 Vine St. Cincinnati
I Am Coffee is locally owned by people from right in the area. Carolyn and Ron are both so sweet and are willing to do anything for any customer who walks through their door.
I love coming here to work because it is quiet and always filled with people meeting or working. The coffee is absolutely delicious. They order locally from Deeper Roots and even sell bags of their coffee there. This is located right in my neighborhood, and it is an absolute must visit.
Coffee Emporium
3316 Erie Ave. Cincinnati
Coffee Emporium is always where I stop when I am looking for a quick and delicious cup of coffee. There was a Coffee Emporium on Xavier’s campus when I was in school and I have been hooked ever since!
I always love stopping at the Hyde Park location to shop their adorable mugs as well.
Mom n’ Em
3128 Colerain Ave. Cincinnati
I went to Mom n’ Em for my first time last year when Corey and I were looking at wedding venues. We headed to The American Sign Museum and I just had to stop there for coffee.
We headed over a little early so that we could try their toasties too. YOU GUYS… the toasties are something special. Let me be clear, it is not the same as you make at home. They are way better.
