My Sundays are usually spent laying around, folding laundry, and possibly taking my dogs for a walk. However, it is March – which means Sundays include friends and basketball. My gal pals, Kiki and Jessica, decided to spend Sunday with me. We had sushi, watched the University of Cincinnati basketball game and played with three different face masks!
Since we decided to take care of our faces, I thought why not blog about it and post our first impressions of each mask. Below are the three masks we tried:
GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment
L’Oreal Paris Skin Care Pure Clay Mask Detox and Brighten
Global Beauty Care Premium Dead Sea Wash-off Mask
Here is what our lovely faces looked like before the masks.
Kianna tried the Loreal, Jessica tried the Glam Glow and I tried the Global Beauty Care Mask.
Below, here we are with our masks fully tried after letting them sit for 15 minutes. Kianna and Jessica’s masks dried down completely and tightened their face (notice how they can barely smile! 😉 ). My mask, however, only dried down a bit and I still had complete movement of my face.
Finally, here is a view of our skin right after we took the masks off.
So what are our final thoughts?!
Jessica gives the Glam Glow Mask two thumbs up! She really liked how the mask showed all of the gunk coming out of her face. You can see in the picture where the mask is fully dry where it extracts gunk and oils out of her pores where the mask has dried. They are the small dark spots on the dry areas of the mask. The mask did give a slight burning feeling while on her skin, but she said she liked it because it made her feel like it was working. She said she would definitely recommend this product to someone else.
Kianna really enjoyed the Pure Clay Mask by Loreal. However, she said she wouldn’t rush out to buy it. She doesn’t try masks too often, but she did think this one worked perfectly fine on her skin. It made her skin soft and smooth! One thing she didn’t like about this mask is that it dried so quickly that it was hard to put all over her face.
Lastly, the dead sea mask. This mask landed in my Ipsy bag last month and this was my first time trying it. I have to say, overall, I was not very impressed. Although, in the photo it does seem as if my skin has a bit more of a glow. 🙂 The mask did not dry down completely like most mud masks. It went on thick and felt heavy on my skin. It did give a slight tingle when washing off. Which, washing off seemed to take forever! I have to give this mask a thumbs down, not my favorite!
Comment your favorite face masks below so we can give them a try!
