January Favorites

January is over. Can you believe it? The first month of the new year is already gone. How did you spend it? Are you still going strong on those New Year Resolutions? I know I am (sorta kinda). One of my resolutions was to blog more – so why not start a series?! Each month I will be sharing the products and activities I have been loving and relying on all month long. So here we are, I introduce to you, my January Favorites.

                     To Eat

Gomez Salsa : Oh Gomez.. Since opening a sit down restaurant in Walnut Hills you have stolen my heart. If you go here, I suggest you get a Turtle: a hybrid burrito stuffed with goodness and sealed with cheese.

White Castle Coffee Decaf : I have recently given up caffeine, but that does not mean I give up my morning cup of joe. I have to admit I was skeptic when Corey told me his mom loved this coffee, but I guess mom’s do know everything, because this coffee is delicious, especially with a little hazelnut creamer.

                   To Wear

Cabin Socks : The most comfy, soft and warm socks your feet and piggies may ever encounter. The best part, they stay soft even after you wash them. The socks are currently BOGO, I suggest you either run to Dick’s or click that link. I promise you will not regret it!

Bow N Arrow : Shout out to my sister for getting me this set for Christmas. Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Bow N Arrow is amazing. It does not bleed or transfer and the color is perfect for winter.

Better Than Sex Mascara : Another Christmas present win. It’s rare that I stray from my Loreal mascara. This mascara is bomb! It gives length and volume, but it does smear… I may try the waterproof mascara next.

                  To Watch

Sons of Anarchy : Corey and I may have rewatched all 7 seasons in the month of January. Thank you Netflix, for allowing this to happen.

This is Us : If you are looking for a heartfelt show, this is it. I cried during every single episode. Maybe I’m a softie, or maybe it is just that good. You will have to see for yourself. 😉

Ddotts : Shoutout to the one blog I am subscribed too. I love reading about Shelbie and her family! I definitely recommend to all my Cincinnati mommy readers too, great tips and always great Cincinnati fun.

Fit Men Cook : I have recently begun meal prepping and Fit Men Cook has been a huge help. There are tons of healthy and delicious recipes on this website. Fit Men Cook also has a YouTube channel! So far I have made two of his recipes: Cauliflower Pizza Bites and Chicken Fried Quinoa, both delicious!

                      Other

Planet Fitness : Oh yeah I am putting this on here. I have spent a lot of time in Planet Fitness during the month of January. It has been a great place workout, even when it is busy, there is always a place to get moving. It helps that I signed up during the $1 down and no commitment time.

LG Bluetooth Wireless Headphones : I love these headphones. These are great for people who despise holding onto their phone while working out. They just sit on my shoulders and the ear buds pop out. They are not beats, but they work!

Phone Storage Water Bottle : This is not a drill, my water bottle holds my phone while I am working out. It goes hand in hand with my blue tooth headphones. Safe to say I really do not like carrying around a bunch of things at the gym. This may be the best purchase ever made.
