New Year, New Me?

I will be honest, I am definitely on the #NewYearNewMe trend… kinda. Let’s face it, I will be the same basic b in 2018 as I was in 2017. But that does not mean there isn’t opportunity to

be better.

 

 

& I most definitely intend on being better.

 

 

 

Is this how you are feeling? “Not another New Year Resolution post” … if it is, you may want to stop reading. 😉

 

So let me break down a few of my 2018 goals. I have kept it simple, because I do intend on successfully completing all of them.

 

 

Relationships:

  • Schedule more girl time.

  • Reach out more often.

  • Text/Call friends when I think of them.

Health:

  • Up water intake.

  • Make healthier choices.

  • Cook more at home!

  • Get a workout in at least four times a week.

Career:

  • Take a leadership course.

  • Read 3 books for career development.

  • Take more handwritten notes.

  • Speak up in meetings.

Self:

  • Learn to say NO instead of I CAN’T.

  • Volunteer monthly.

  • Read one book each month.

  • T R A V E L  E V E N  M O R E.

  • Use more lotion… lol. #DryAssSkin

 

As I said, I decided to keep it simple this year. I think one way to get to big goals is by creating smaller ones. 2017 is the year to beat, & I cannot wait to have the opportunity to in 2018. It is going to be one for the books.

    One of my goals is to get better with my time management. I find myself running around a lot and getting caught up in all of the adulting day to day, so I want to make sure that I make the time to care for myself. I also want to make sure I reach out to everyone that I love and make more time for them as well!

    I love the new year, new me “trend”
    It drives me nuts when people hate on it…I think those people are the ones who need a “new me” if you know what I’m sayin’
