It turns out barre isn’t just for ballerinas.
I certainly am not graceful, I cannot dance a lick and I’m really not that flexible. So get all of those assumptions of what you HAVE/NEED to be to take a Barre studio class… they are all wrong.
Shelbie and I are working with The Barre Code in a 30 day challenge this month. 30 classes, in 30 days – and we are going to take you all on this journey with us.
My personal goal for this 30 days is to feel stronger, more energetic throughout the day and most importantly, see if working out regularly will help me get a better night’s sleep. It’ll all be a bonus if I see some physical changes with my body as well 😉
The Barre Code is located in downtown Cincinnati at 615 Main Street. I know what you’re thinking.. parking must be hell… but I am here to tell you NAH SON. It’s actually extremely easy to park and get to class on time, big ups to the studio for solving the parking issue before even coming to class. See the parking advice below. We park in a lot and pay $3 max, in the morning, we park right outside the studio, early birds get free parking (meters don’t run until 7am – morning perks)!
CARDIO. STRENGTH. RESTORE.
I started this challenge not having done any sort of workout other than walking. I was on a hiatus… just in time for summer, NOT. Barre turned out to be the perfect transition back into physically making my body give its all.
If you are looking for a low-impact class that really packs a punch, I would suggest giving The Barre Code a try.
I will post my updates and share Shelbie’s as well, so you can follow along. But you can always join us on this mission!
The Barre Code is offering our followers 30% off 30 days of unlimited classes!
