Right across the river from Cincinnati, Ohio is the charming neighborhood of Covington, Kentucky. I have gathered up my TOP things to do in Covington, Kentucky to hit up next time you are in town, or if you are a Cincinnatian, next time you cross the river.
Where to Stay | Hotel Covington
638 Madison Avenue, Covington, Kentucky 41011
The first time I went to Hotel Covington was actually for my Cincinnati Bachelorette Party. We started out with dinner at Coppin’s Restaurant & Bar.. let me tell you, the absolute BEST tater tots you will ever eat in your entire life. They are not ordinary, they are delicious and will leave you ordering more.
But, of course, let me tell you about the actual hotel, Hotel Covington. I mention the restaurant and bar first because Hotel Covington does not give a hotel feel. It is an amazing stay where you are welcomed with a relaxing vibe. It is very easy to hangout in the bar, relax in your room, or even work in the lobby.

Where to Eat | Kung-Food Chu’s AmerAsia
521 Madison Avenue, Covington, Kentucky 41011
Corey and I literally crave Kung Food. If I want food that is spicy, delicious, and so different than any other place in the city, Kung Food Chu is where we go.
I typically get the General Chu’s at a 5 spice level. It is just enough to light me up and satisfy my spice craving… sometimes I like to sweat when I eat. Definitely consult on the spice level when ordering, at a certain number they begin adding some serious peppers to the food.
You will not be disappointed if you stop here next time you are in Covington, Kentucky.

Where to Shop | Mavi Joyas
625 Madison Avenue, Covington, Kentucky 41011
Mavi Joyas is all handmade jewelry by Mavi herself! Corey and I stopped in here last year to grab amazing earrings for NYE.
I am always looking for small local entrepreneurs to support and Mavi has an amazing story! You have to put stopping in her new store in your list of things to do in Covington, Kentucky.

Where to Workout | Nicole Leisen Personal Training & Fitness
118 W Pike St, Covington, Kentucky 41011
I have been working out at Nicole Leisen’s TRX studio in Covington, Kentucky for almost a year now. Her workout classes are perfect for absolutely anyone.
TRX makes it easy to modify for someone who works out all the time, and also modify for someone new to the movements. You will definitely want to sign up for a 45 minute class when you are in town.

Where to Drink | Braxton Brewery
27 W 7th St Covington, Kentucky 41011
Braxton Brewing is located right in Covington, Kentucky actually a stones throw away from Nicole Leisen (listed above). You can work out and then head to Braxton for a nice Vive Hard Seltzer. Balance right?
The taproom and rooftop is family friendly (before 8pm) and is a great place to hangout and relax. You can grab some food from KungFood Chu’s (listed above) and bring it in to enjoy with your craft beer or hard seltzer.
Cincinnati is known for breweries and Covington, Kentucky is no exception. You will absolutely love Braxton!
