You can’t look at Cincinnati’s skyline at night and deny that this is a romantic city. A fancy meal and movie doesn’t have to be your only choice when going out, Cincinnati has so much more to offer.
SkyStar Wheel
SkyStar the 150-foot-high mobile observation wheel on Freedom Way at The Banks recently extended its tenure in the Queen City. The mobile wheel was originally slated to leave December 2 but was extended until June 16.
It’s a unique and one-of-a-kind experience where you can pan the entire city from a full 360-degree view. Each ride has four full revolutions and lasts about 12 minutes. SkyStar Wheel is the largest mobile observation wheel in the US.
Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 4pm-11pm; Friday 12pm-12am; Saturday 10am-12am, and Sunday 10am-10pm. Tickets are available onsite and online at SkyStar Tickets.

Main Event/Top Golf
If your idea of fun is a little non-stop, pulse-pounding, adrenaline-pumping action, then Main Event’s Laser Tag is just for you. I know it’s one of my most favorite things to do!
I, of course, am suggesting laser tag, but what is great about Main Event is that there are plenty of games to choose from. You can even head across the parking lot for Top Golf.

Cincinnati Murder Mystery Dinner
I said you can do something more fun than dinner… well how about solving a murder mystery while eating a delicious dinner?
The Murder Mystery Company puts on a totally unique dining experience, and let me tell you, it is so much fun!
I recently wrote an entire blog post on how much fun the Cincinnati Murder Mystery Dinner’s are. You can check it out here.
My girl Shelbie also wrote all about her experience, which you can check out here.
Urban Axes
These places are opening up all over the country, and it’s such a good time. I’ll admit it, at first I was a little nervous about the idea of hurling a sharp object towards a target, but by the end of the evening I felt like a pro (and I beat Corey too).
The staff at Urban Axes help facilitate cooperative and competitive games. It’s a date night to give you memories to last a lifetime.
