Okay – so the title may be a bit misleading. I do not eat this every single day, but I usually eat something along these lines… with the occasional slip up… *cough* bag of Hot Cheetos *cough*. I keep it decently healthy, but nothing here is gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian… or any of that business. My goal here is to inspire you to try something new, or help you out if you are in a recipe rut. Check out below what I eat when I make food at home!
Breakfast: 7:30am
Breakfast always features a carb & coffee. Since it is still summer I stick to iced coffee, here I have iced salted caramel mocha. I kept it simple with an everything bagel with cream cheese and chia seed pudding.
Lunch: 11:30am
Shout out to Mackenzie Anderson for sending me this recipe on Pinterest. 😉 Caesar pasta salad, so easy, so delicious.
Guilty Pleasure: 2:00pm
My mother loves her Starbucks. When she is having a bad day, her decaf latte usually cheers her up. But when I gather Starbucks for her, I also grab something for myself. Here we have a peach green tea lemonade… YUM.
After Gym: 6:00pm
Just one scoop! Just enough to fuel my muscles (keep me from getting terribly sore) and to get me through soccer practice without having to listen to my belly grumble.
Dinner: 7:00pm
Taco Thursday!! Kept it simple with beef, cilantro, Tajin, cheese and Sriracha. Of course we had chips and guac as our side.
Bedtime: 10:30pm
The best time of the day – relax and have some tea. Corey and I spent the evening catching up on all of the shows we missed this week: Power, Hardknocks, Ballers, Survivors Remorse & Pretty Little Liars (okay, PLL is just me). Tea calms my nerves and makes me sleepy… maybe it’s because it’s bedtime tea, or maybe it is all in my head.
